APOLESTHEEN: POETESS CHRYSSA VELISSARIOU WRITE, EROS

Eros

Two petal carnivorous flower
Sometimes also soul-vorous
Edible
It flowers mainly in spring
However it blooms other times too
When temperatures rise
As the magnolias on my sidewalk did
Which surprised me early in February ...
Eros's bud has an inherent
Specificity
It opens its petals in succession
Without excluding coexistence
The first petal
- Commonly called Passion -
Is purple red and
Withers just when the second petal opens
This one is commonly called Love
And is orange
Both petals have wonderful healing properties
Which some people occasionally thought they were magical
Passion, for instance
Is Death-killing
While Love is Life-giving
Passion is burnt as firework
While Love rekindles a mighty fire
Passion establishes the start
While Love lengthens the end
Because there is an end
To Love like to all flowers
Although Passion putrifies as soon as it withers
The Love petal can possibly be picked with care
And be dried maintaining through time
A part of the exquisite fragrance of Eros ...
However its picking
Requires experience, perseverance, patience and mastery at least
And its crop is poor despite its high demand.
It is perhaps because the pesticide and beneficial to the flower
Bacterium of Innocence tends to disappear
While the flower's primary parasite Egoism
is widely spread and has developed countless mutations
The most ancient one: the non-contact, the non-dialogue, the Silence
The situation worsened in the last fifty years
When in the gardens of Eros appeared
Some mysterious fraudulent Blue Screens
Supposedly aiming
To inverse the statistics
Nothing happened for the better
Instead of this things became more complicated ...............
